CLC Canvas Spar Bag


Sun-DURA

This spar bag is a universal fit for our Northeaster Dory, Skerry, Passagemaker Dinghy, and Eastport Pram sailing rigs. (Please note that the sailing rigs for the CLC Kayak-Canoe  and the Jimmy Skiff are too long for this bag.) 

The spar bag also has a long pocket on one side (shown above) that will fully enclose a pair of oars up through 8' in length.  The oar pocket has Velcro® closures and the opening of the spar bag is secured with nylon webbing and a quick release buckle.

 

Sun-DURA® is 100% Solution-Dyed 7.6 oz. marine grade polyester with 600 x 600 Denier weave. Excellent against cold-cracking. The Sun-DURA® colors are part of the polyester fiber itself so the khaki color goes completely through the fiber instead of being just on the surface, so it is fade-resistant.  The fabric also has a finish coat of 100% polyurethane which gives excellent UV, mildew, and rot resistance, protecting your spars from sun and water damage.
